How do I make PSD Business Cards?
The standard size of a regular business card in the US is 3.5 x 2 inches, which makes it similar in size to most credit cards. In the metric system this translates to 88.9 x 50.8 millimetres. The standard size of a business card in the UK and most of Europe is 3.3 x 2.1 inches (or 85 x 55 millimetres).

Files submitted to print that have a resolution lower than 300dpi will likely result in a lesser quality or blurred print product. These low-resolution files will appear clear on screen but will print quite blurry. See the example below of two business card files.

ID-1, CR80, or the standard size …
Referring to the card type as ID-1, the dimensions were defined as 3.370 inches wide and 2.125 inches high. The thickness is 0.030 inches. This is the size that is commonly referred to as CR80 and encompasses all financial cards and most other common cards.
The Photo size for an ID card must be 2 x 2 inches (or 51 x 51 mm) in size. The size of the head in the photograph must be between 1 and 1 ⅜ inches from the chin's bottom to the tip of the person's head.

In an open contact, double-click the Electronic Business Card. In the Edit Business Card dialog box, in the Card Design section, click Change. Locate the picture that you want to add or change, and then double-click it.
